Intikhab Alam

Intikhab Alam is a CMS alumnus and a celebrated test-cricketer of Pakistan. He was a student at CMS in the 1950’s.

During his career in test cricket, he played in 47 Test matches and four One Day Internationals. He captained Pakistan in 17 Tests and also played in English county cricket.

After a very successful career of playing in Test Cricket, he continued to serve as a Coach or Manager.

He received the ICC mace in recognition of Pakistan’s rise in 2016 as the world’s top cricket team. ICC, the International Cricket Council, is the world governing body of Cricket

Intikhab Alam received PhD honorary Doctor of Law from Lancaster University of England in 2016.

Intikhab is an active member and supporter of the Karachi CMS Alumni Group.
